The Dø  is a French/Finnish duo that takes its name from the first names of its members. The Dø (that is to say, Dan Levy and Olivia B. Merilahtin) is a 'multi-genred' pop group influenced by rock (Beatles, Björk, etc.) and jazz (Coltrane, Ella, etc.) that has made waves with their 2007 debut album A Mouthful. Within the group context, Dan takes up musical duties, while Olivia handles the vocals. With classical & jazz music as prime sources of their inspiration they create a unique, fresh sound: swinging, yet serene; based on modern technology, yet warm and hopeful.
