The 2009 European Border Breaker Awards were presented in a spectacular TV-show on the opening night of EuroSonic Noorderslag in the presence of European Commissioner Ján Figel. The award show featured live performances by five award winning acts and the Jools Holland Rhythm & Blues Orchestra and will be broadcast throughout Europe.
