Respect to White Lies: even with a huge amount of British bands they managed to stand out at last years Lowlands festival. It were the fresh and clean indiesongs, with the striking Unfinished Business first, that made the Lowlands-public fall for the London blokes. The spirit of Echo & The Bunnymen and especially Joy Division wanders in the songs of the band, who at the time of the Eurosonic festival will release their full-length debut To Lose My Life Or Lose My Love. Singer Harry McVeigh already told us that death will be an important theme on this record. We will definitely sing along to the great single Death.
