Together, Lieven Dermul and Wim Slabbinck from Bruges are Waxdolls, an extremely crazy electropunkband that can easily be compared to bands like Digitalism, Neon Judgement and Nid & Sancy. One member is a sound engineer, the other a sexologist. Truly a brilliant combination. Waxdolls combines a crystal-clear dance sound with lyrics full of sexual innuendo. Or according to them: ‘Our lyrics are raw, rancid and horny.’ Waxdolls makes sensual dance music and exciting electro mixed with a fair amount of punk attitude. Think of Klaxons or even Bloc Party.
