It’s an event on its own: awarding the Pop prize of Buma Culture. Most of the time followers of the alternative scene do not get in a state of euphoria when they hear that artists like Armin van Buuren, Ali B or Tiësto are crowned best Dutch act. But it’s still a fact that these winners are most successful abroad and represent Dutch music worldwide. Just a little while and we will know who gets crowned the most important Dutch act of 2008.
