Luux Cox plays drums with the Flemish DJ Buscemi. But that’s not the only thing. He also produced records of the successful band Arsenal while his partner in crime and Bobby Ewing-member is part of the Leuven DJ-collective Disco Galaxie. Together they are Shameboy, a dynamic pair producing groovy dance music that resembles Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers. The breakthrough came with the infectious single Rechoque, which is just as catchy as the other songs. Shameboy stands for ‘phat & funky grooves’, combined with eighties synthesizers, analogue basslines and repetitive drums.
