Everlasting instrumental pieces interchanged with fresh new ideas and more up-tempo songs, that’s the Belgian Motek. At the end of last year these post rockers delivered an enchanted record filled with gloomed singing and threatening synths: Port Sunshine. Still Motek is more of a post rock band and they are constantly looking for adventure and more. Hard pieces are varied with modest passages full of piano. Motek is one of the most atmospheric post rock bands of this moment. The two guitar players really get everything out of their instruments. On Port Sunshine the band gets help from members of Zita Swoon. We’re curious about how that is going to sound like live.
