Obviously Dutch own Britpop pride Moke can’t be absent in Groningen this year. Success album Shorland is released in almost all of Europe, the band got to tour with Paul Weller and the black Karl Lagerfeld costumes still fit the gents perfectly. New material – like the single Heart Without A Home for the movie TBS – makes you long for more. They also have the advertising world at their feet: multiple songs were used in television commercials. It looks like the whole world is fan of this Amsterdam band with an Irish singer. Moke transcended the hype and entered the European elite of Britpop bands.
