Mélissa Laveaux is an 23 year old musician of Haitian descent, born in Ottawa and living in Paris. She is a singer songwriter, guitarist and vocalist who plays music described as a mix of roots, folk and blues using her signature percussive finger-style giutar and soulful vocal stylings. Her first single ‘Needle in the Hay ‘ was a tribute to Elliot Smith.
