Imagine this: you have just started out, and people already begin to compare you with two of the greatest bands from your city. This is exactly what happened to Lowline. The <st1:city><st1:place>Manchester</st1:place></st1:city> band is being portrayed as a mixture between Joy Division and Oasis by the British press. Also, colleague bands like the Verve and The Enemy consider themselves fan. Lowline remains calm, however. The band that started in 2007 went into a warehouse and wrote a dozen songs. Their first single Monitors is enchanting, aggressive, really mystic and filled with ‘teen angst’.
