Powerpop from the German city of Dinslaken, where Kilians was started by some insane students. You can already hear that in their cover of Metallica’s Hero Of The Day. A rather strange choice for a Metallica-cover, but by adding some punkfunk influences the song has become pretty danceable. Expect a real live band. Their debut Kill The Kilians (guys, that title) contains a nice dose of indierock, ranging from Nada Surf to The Kooks. Sounds, uhm, killer.
