Even though Marc Collin loves the classics of pop, he hates the time constraint that seems to be connected to it. With Nouvelle Vague he already successfully translated a selection of new wave hits to the timeless Bossanova genre. Inspired by a film genre again, he now searched for songs that were made famous by Hollywood movies from the eighties. He brought them back to intimate acoustic songs and got, besides the many sighing French female singers, names like Juliette Lewis en Cibelle excited to do the vocals on hits like Footloose, Eye Of The Tiger and Flashdance. And again the result is stunning. If this becomes as big of a success as the ever touring Nouvelle Vague, Collin is going to be very busy.
