They like to compare themselves with good wine: both need time to ripe. Gomer Pyle already exists since the nineties, but didn’t reach full maturity up until now. The band seemed to break through in 1999, but Eurohappy didn’t turn out to be the expected success album. However, in 2009 Gomer Pyle is back, stronger than ever. Their solid rock songs –a brand of stoner rock, with spacey trips that come from a lost keyboard- are melodic, dark, and powerful. They are still fans of Pearl Jam, but also dig a firm dose of psychedelic sounds.
