The deep dark English dance sound of dubstep has been around for quite a while, but just recently it became more popular. Gomes figured it out many years ago: the London garage genre with its incredible intense sound could be very popular. As G-man he produces dubstep and grime, which he worked on with several well known hip-hoppers and grimers. But we prefer to see him showing his skills behind the turntables. For five years now he organizes the dubstep night Oi! at Paradiso. It's fair to say Gomes is leading the genre in the Netherlands.
