Dennis Kolen is a trooper. In a previous life all seemed to go well with his band Wyatt. A contract with a major, a dozen of beautiful songs and then… there was an invisible force stopping this talented band. A damn shame. Instead of choosing for a job at the local gas station as so many other musicians do, Kolen decided to hang on. As a singer/songwriter his experience and the reflections on that previous career are now put into songs that are rooted in Americana, without losing the hooks of his previous band. The result is impressive. It’s the sound of perseverance.
