Declan de Barra has already spent an entire life as musician. This Irishman left for Australia to play in several bands when he was only eighteen years old, but he returned in 2002 to continue as a solo artist. Whoever hears De Barra while closing his eyes might hear Jeff Buckley. His simple, guitar driven songs are backed by his special voice. Powerful, dynamic and with a vocal range to get jealous of. Sometimes you can hear his punk background, but Declan de Barra is especially good when playing his sober miniatures of songs. Luckily for him, he has a lot of them.
