In 2006 Chris LeMay participated in the tv-show X-Factor. Although he did not win, he did gain the attention of Gordon Groothedde, who previously worked with bands like Krezip, Intwine and IOS. The national radio station 3FM also recognized his potential and labelled LeMay a ‘Serious Talent’. The soulful single A Million Ways is a nice foretaste of his upcoming debut. LeMay’s sound is clearly inspired by legends suchs as Otis Redding and Donny Hathaway. It is not an easy task to get close to these icons, but LeMay certainly has the potential.
