The music Buraka Som Sistema makes is just as exotic as their name makes you believe. They make Kuduro, a form of dance music from Angola, which already is very popular in Lisbon, and is slowly taking over the rest of the world. Their style has many different influences from house, hiphop, African music and Caribbean music. Debut album Black Diamond - featuring M.I.A., Kano and others - already earned the band an EMA nomination. Without any doubt Buraka Som Sistema is one of the most swinging acts of the moment.
