Boemklatsch began eight years ago as the partyboys of the hiphop scene in Utrecht. Cool parties became even better whenever these party animals would take over the turntables. The collective has now expanded to a club of three dj's, a host and two vj's. Everything which is raw and danceable is used by dj Mike Mago, dj Sjammie the Money, dj Ilvister, MC Atactic and vj-duo Ramkraak to make the floor quaver. Last year they launched their own label, on which the mix-album Mixing In Action was released, a record also featuring tracks from these guys. How refreshing the record might sound, the slogan remains old school: rock till you drop!
