Darren Foreman doesn't have a beard. At least, not any more. When he started beatboxing in 2002 the Englishman - who lives in the artist's colony of Brighton - still had his beard, which rapidly earned him his nickname Beardyman. He got into the art of the voice when he saw the legendary Rahzel perform and not long after that he discovered he wasn't to bad himself. In both 2006 and 2007 he was crowned the UK Beatbox Champion. The Jewish artist is considered the funniest among beatboxers: he is well known for his Elvis-imitation and as the German professor Bernhard Steinerhoff he gives real beatbox lectures. Including an over the top German accent.
